New Member Registrations

We have had some people try to register from outside of our community with IP addresses as far away as California. New member registrations will be monitored and if email address is not in our directory, they may be deleted. If this becomes a problem, we may need to install a control where new members will need to be approved before they can post messages or read the entire forum. This is unfortunate, but we want this to be for Belmont West families and their friends.

Harry, I saw that early A.M. post that was removed. From the jibberish, looked like a hacker phishing this site, or such.
Glad you caught that so quickly.
I agree that probably this Site be limited to BWA property owners, unless invited, or "verified" from a contiguous subdivision. Some of those residents may share useful, and common interests.

Will continue to monitor and delete the obvious non-resident users. If it becomes too much of a problem, I will set the registration to an approval status. If anyone has a problem with registering, send an email to belmontwest@comcast.net stating your problem.
